Grand Canyon National Park announced on Wednesday , Aug. 20, that the popular corridor trails closed over a month ago because of the Dragon Bravo Fire are now open to hikers again.
The Bright Angel Trail is open from the trailhead at the rim to Pipe Creek Resthouse just above the Colorado River. The South Kaibab Trail is open from its trailhead to “The Tipoff,” a junction approximately 4.4 miles down the trail and 3,200 feet below the rim. The segment of the Tonto Trail that connects Havasupai Gardens on Bright Angel Trail to The Tipoff on South Kaibab Trail is also open. Copy article link
