LEESBURG, Va. — An elementary school teacher was arrested Wednesday for solicitation of a minor through electronic communication.

Leesburg Police were contacted by Florida authorities in regards to the investigation after they learned Antonio Ford, 28, was thought to live in Leesburg.

Detectives in Leesburg launched an investigation, and executed multiple search warrants, eventually issuing an arrest warrant for Ford.

With assistance from Loudon County Sheriff's Office, Ford was taken into custody at Lovettsville Elementary School where he is employed as a teacher.

He was taken to Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
