RESTON, Va. — Fairfax County Police and officers from Reston Police charged a seven people in connection to a retail theft crew that stole $20,000 worth tools from Home Depot in Reston.

On July 19 at 4:51 p.m. officers responded to the 1600 block of Reston Parkway for a shoplifting case. Officers arrived and arrested Roberto Hernandez Cruz, 27.

Detectives and Home Depot Asset Protection worked close together and uncovered an organized theft crew involving Hernandez and six other suspects. They were all linked to thefts from the same store dating back to June of this year.
