An investigation is underway after a road rage incident along I-75 ended in a Meijer store parking lot with one person injured on Wednesday, officials said.

Auburn Hills Deputy Chief of Police Scott McGraw told The Oakland Press that the road rage happened on I-75 and that one driver then followed another to the Meijer store in Auburn Hills, located on Brown Road. The person being followed confronted the other driver, and then was hit by the other driver’s car, McGraw said.

The person suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, McGraw said.

A suspect was identified and apprehended, McGraw said.
