HOUSTON (KIAH)-- The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's State of Hispanics Data Summit is an event that highlights the economic impact of the Hispanic Community.
According to the Chamber, Houston Hispanics spend more than $54 billion a year. Data also shows that Hispanic-owned small businesses represent more than 42% of the small businesses owned in the region. The event covered the economy, business and how immigration issues are affecting business in the city.
CEO and President of the chamber, Dr. Laura Murillo says, "We wanted to share data, facts and figures about the business community, about the economy. And it's a sold-out event with over 500 people, lots of exhibitors, CEOs, executive and partners like CW39."
