GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The mother and uncle of a young girl who was found walking alone earlier this month have been arrested, according to the Guilford County Sheriff's Office.

A press release states that on August 8, at around 7:00 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Sidon Drive and Jonquil Drive regarding a reported young girl walking alone through Crown Home Mobile Park.

On Wednesday, arrest warrants were obtained for Natali Suarez, 34, the child's mother and 25-year-old Gabriel Suarez, the child's uncle, on misdemeanor child abuse charges.

With the assistance of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Gabriel Suarez was arrested and is currently being held at the Randolph County Detention Center on a $2,500 secured bond.
