FARGO — A Fargo nonprofit is making sure children go back to school with the clothes they need.

Hundreds filed into Dakota High School on Thursday, Aug. 21, for Youthworks’ annual “We’ve Got You Covered” event.

Organizers filled both of the school’s gyms with clothes for boys and girls, which families were able to pick up for free.

The event was open to middle and high school students, as well as young adults and their families.

Organizers said that seeing children react to receiving something they truly need is priceless.

"It doesn't have to be elation, it's kind of a relief sometimes: that's actually one of the more satisfying things, when you see people going, 'OK, I have it. Now I'm going to be set for this coming school year.' It's such a rewarding feeling," said Mark Heinert, ex
