More than 180 deliberate fires were started in West Dunbartonshire between April and June this year according to a fresh report from Scottish Fire and Rescue.
A document presented to members of the housing and communities committee highlights that of the 182 deliberate fires, 93 of these were targeted at grassland, woodland and crops.
The report also shows how fire services have seen a rise in the number of incidents from 71 in the previous quarter and states that this is in keeping with the impact of the seasonal changes from winter to spring.
Between April and June West Dunbartonshire has seen 47 incidents in Clydebank Waterfront, 37 in Leven, 33 in Kilpatrick, 23 in Clydebank Central, 23 in Dumbarton and 19 in Lomond.
