Happy Friday! Today will be hot and muggy. A few scattered storms will be possible during the afternoon and evening hours. Any heavy rainfall should stay east of I-75 near our easternmost counties.

For those with Friday night football plans or who plan to engage in outdoor activities, it may be wise to bring a rain jacket or umbrella along, just in case. If a storm were to pop up, I do not expect them to be widespread, but any storm could bring isolated spots of heavy rain, lightning, and some gusty winds. Highs today will range in the mid-80s and the low-90s. Expect more rain and the possibility of more widespread thunderstorms later Saturday afternoon through early Sunday. These storms may bring a very low risk of flash flooding.
