College football returns to Montgomery with the ESPN FCS Kickoff Classic.

The game will be played Saturday, August 23, at Cramton Bowl and features Mercer taking on California-Davis.

This is Mercer’s second time playing in the Kickoff Classic, and the first for UC-Davis.

Both teams made the FCS playoff quarterfinals last season. Mercer is ranked 11th, while UC-Davis is 8th.

Kickoff is at 6PM on ESPN.

If you’ll be going, the streets around Cramton Bowl will be closed by 6 that morning. Shuttles from various parking decks will start running at 2. Gates will open at 4.
