A 36-unit workforce housing project got the OK to proceed in downtown Mesa after last week’s split council vote and despite opposition by neighbors who complained about the density and the cars it will bring.
COPA Health plans to tear down an aging 12-unit apartment building on Beverly, north of Main Street and replace it with the three-story Beverly Apartments. It’ll have 44 parking spaces.
