CROWN HEIGHTS — The West Indian American Day Carnival Association prepares for another staging of New York Carnival , complete with Caribbean culture and pageantry, on Monday, Sept. 01. The parade, “Vive le Carnivale 2025,” takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along Eastern Parkway and is expected to attract millions of spectators. Numerous related events will include Dancehall 2025 and SOCA FEST on Thursday, Aug. 28 and Friday, Aug. 29 at the Brooklyn Museum; a Junior Carnival Parade and “Panorama,” the clash of the “Steel Drums Titans” on Saturday, Aug. 30; a VIP breakfast; early-morning J’ouvert festival and others.
