When Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders returned from a trip to Israel earlier this month, she came back with more than a souvenir photo of herself smiling with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She also brought on increasing skepticism at home about what she is really up to in the Middle East.

Sanders is cozying up to Israel, despite Arkansas having a relatively small population of Jews and Arabs, and until recently, few direct ties to the nation.
