The first half of the New York Jets preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles is in the books, and the Jets are trailing the Eagles, 6 – 3.

The game opened with offensive futility by both teams. Neither team found success until the second drive by the Eagles offense. The Eagles put together a short drive midway through the first quarter, aided by what looked like a possible blown coverage by Qwan’tez Stiggers, and kicked a 51 yard field goal for an early 3 – 0 lead.

Late in the first quarter Malachi Moore made a nice play for an interception. The Jets were unable to capitalize, however, as Adrian Martinez was intercepted by the Eagles a few plays later.
