The New York Jets had a very quiet offseason with one exception: the signing of dynamic (but to date statistically mediocre) Justin Fields.

Weeks of practice clips on X later, the opinions of Fields’ play among Jets fans vary. For some, the upside remains tantalizing. For others, the inaccurate passes are a non-starter. In the coming weeks everyone will get to find out who was right.

In the interim, the opinions of Jets decision makers are really all that matter for the team. Recently, General Manager Darren Mougey provided some thoughts on how he thinks Fields has improved since joining the team.
