COLUMBUS, Ohio — One of two people who were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Italian Village has died, police said.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the 300 block of East First Avenue , near North Fourth Street, around 4:45 a.m. on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found two people had been shot.
One person, who police later identified as 24-year-old Is'Shan Trowsdell, went to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at 12:46 p.m. on Thursday.
Another victim was transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Police described their condition as “stable" and said they were later released.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed this was a nonintentional shooting between family members
