COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in northeast Columbus on Thursday night, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said the crash happened in the 3700 block of Westerville Road , south of Ferris Road. Officers were called to the scene around 10:05 p.m., according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Two people were extricated from a vehicle and taken to the hospital, the sheriff's office said.

A Columbus public safety dispatcher told 10TV that southbound traffic on Westerville Road at Ferris Road and northbound traffic at Woodsedge Road are blocked.

It is unclear at this time how many vehicles were involved in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
