Columbia Police Department investigators continue to search for the person responsible for a fatal shooting Friday night at a Farrow Rd. gas station.

On Saturday, police located what they call a "vehicle of interest" in connection with the shooting. A pursuit of that vehicle, assisted by Richland County Sheriff's Department deputies, ended in the detainment of a male at Harden and Lady streets.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Friday night at the Hot Spot gas station at 3213 Farrow Road.
