CHILLICOTHE, Mo - A Chillicothe man was arrested Sunday morning on Livingston County drug charges.

According to a probable cause statement, Chillicothe Police pulled over 40-year-old Charles Robert Smith at 1:30 am for multiple traffic violations while riding his bicycle. During the stop it was determined that Smith was under active supervision from the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole for a possession of a controlled substance charge.

Smith consented to a search of his property. He was found to be in possession of two small plastic bags of methamphetamine, two glass smoking pipes, a digital scale, empty plastic bags, and a syringe.
