JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - A Warsaw man and his co-conspirator from Tennessee were sentenced yesterday in federal court for their roles in a 2022 conspiracy to murder U.S. Border Patrol agents and for shooting at FBI agents during the execution of a search warrant.

U.S. District Judge Brian C. Wimes sentenced 35-year-old Jonathan O'Dell to a total of 165 years in federal prison and 39-year-old Brian Perry of Clarksville, Tennessee to 15 consecutive life terms in federal prison for their roles in an elaborate plan to travel to the southern border to shoot and kill border patrol officers. The investigation showed that Perry had traveled to Warsaw to plan the trip with O'Dell, and the duo attempted to recruit other people to join their militia.
