LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen was robbed Friday afternoon outside of North Star High School in Lincoln, police say.

Around 2:15 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was near the school’s track when two unknown males approached him.

The duo told the boy to give them his belongings, according to LPD.

They took his shoes, backpack, laptop, phone, headphones and inhaler, for a loss of about $1,100, police said.

The school resource officer at North Star was able to identify one of the suspects in the surveillance video.

Officers found Angelo Givans, 18, just after 3 p.m. and arrested him on suspicion of robbery.

Police said some of the victim’s belongings were recovered during the arrest.

An investigation is ongoing.
