PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) - Another major water main break has affected parts of Paterson.

Just two weeks ago, on Aug. 8, Yani Batista was without running water at her home in Hillcrest after a century-old main break rocked Great Falls.

Now, she is bringing water to Riverside, where her mom had been without water. This break, happening Saturday morning at North 1st and Arch streets.

"They have to buy water," said Batista, "and to shower, they went to my house yesterday."

To deal with this all in the span of a month, in her words, is ridiculous.

"We pay so much taxes on houses, you know?" said Batista.

Fernando Fernandez has lived on Fourth Avenue since 1986, never once losing water here. The only reason he's still here is that he can still use his bathroom.
