A Maricopa woman is facing multiple felony charges after a violent domestic disturbance Friday in the Acacia Crossings neighborhood nearly turned fatal, according to a Maricopa Police Department report.
Officers responded to a home on Bahía Drive at about 4 p.m. after a call for help. Police said Jennifer T. Snowball, 40, allegedly pulled out a handgun and pointed it at a family member before being disarmed.
According to the report, Snowball became combative inside the home, throwing items throughout the kitchen and breaking glass. Officers wrote that she attempted to grab “various knives” before being restrained. At one point, Snowball reportedly punched a family member in the face and later tried to take back the firearm after retrieving it from a bedroom.
