SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 13-ranked Angelo State University football team is hoping for another great run in 2025, as the Rams get ready to open the season on the road against Fort Hays State on Thursday night.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday in Hays, Kansas.
The Rams went 9-3 overall and 9-0 in the Lone Star Conference last season, before making a first-round exit in the NCAA Division II playoffs.
Two of ASU's losses were against Fort Hays State and Emporia State in the first two games of the 2024 season, and Rams will try to reverse those results this time around.
The Rams' home opener is against Emporia State on Saturday, Sept. 6.
