MARSHVILLE — Forest Hills topped Salisbury 21-0 on Friday, the first time the Hornets have been shut out since a 34-0 loss to Shelby in a 2019 state championship game.
It was 7-0 going to the fourth quarter, but the Yellow Jackets pulled away.

Vamara Jabateh led the defensive effort for the Hornets with 10 tackles, including a sack.
Isaiah Foxx was 8-for-21 passing for 91 yards and was intercepted twice in his first varsity start for the Hornets.
Darrius Jefferies rushed for 46 yards, while Foxx had 40. The Hornets totaled 105 rushing yards.
Jay’lin Johnson had two catches for 56 yards.
North Rowan visits the Hornets this week.
