ROBESON COUNTY — School buildings across the Public Schools of Robeson County were again filled with chatter, laughter and the sound of excitement as more than 20,000 students returned to school on Monday.

The day was filled with instruction, introductions and innovation as students filed into classrooms eager to learn and start the school year off on a positive note.

“It was a great day,” said PSRC Superintendent Dr. Freddie Williamson.

“We look forward to even more great days ahead as the school year continues. We do ask parents to be patient as we navigate a new student information system, Infinite Campus.
