MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A magistrate who has been criticized for her bail decisions is no longer with the New Hampshire Judicial Branch, News 9 Investigates has learned.

The Judicial Branch confirmed that there is only one magistrate currently hearing cases in the state, and it is not Stephanie Johnson.

The Judicial Branch would not share the circumstances of why Johnson is no longer in that position.

She had been criticized for bail decisions, including the decision in April to grant $5,000 bail to Michael Gleason Jr. , a Berlin man who killed his wife, Marisol Fuentes, and himself in July.
