Firefighting crews from around the state received hands-on training during the annual Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Training hosted at the Vernal Regional Airport. Vernal City issued a press release, sharing that crews from Moab and Cedar City joined the Uintah Fire District for the interactive training that simulated aircraft fire scenarios. “One of the things I love is it’s as realistic as can be without people injured and without massive amounts of property damage,” shares 139 Fire Training Instructor Dave Brinton. “There’s no substitute for hands-on time.
