OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One of the suspects in a kidnapping case in Omaha has been sentenced to prison.

Devan Spera was one of four people arrested after a disturbing incident in Midtown last October.

According to a police report, a woman ran into the Casey’s at 30th and Dodge with zip-ties around her hands, saying she had been kidnapped.

Spera pleaded “no contest” to attempted kidnapping, and was sentenced to 15-20 years in prison.

On top of that, the judge revoked her probation for a separate kidnapping case from 2021 , sentencing her to 6-8 years in prison for that crime.

Spera will have to serve that sentence before the sentence from last year’s incident.

Jared Pappan and Ashely Bordeaux are also due to be sentenced for the 2024 kidnapping in September.
