JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A man has pleaded guilty to rape as part of an agreement, while his son faces child sexual abuse charges in district court.

Shane Shockey, 49, pleaded guilty to one count of rape where the victim is under 16 and the perpetrator is over 18 in his Jerome County case, according to plea entry documents. He initially faced three felony counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16, two felony counts of rape, and a felony count of child sexual abuse.

His son, Zachary Shockey, 29, continues to face two felony counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16 and two felony counts of child sexual abuse in Jerome County District Court, according to court documents.
