A Franklin motorcyclist who was injured after fleeing Whiteland Police pled guilty and was sentenced last week.
Dustin C. Ammerman, 32, is charged with resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, a Level 6 felony; reckless driving causing bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; and driving while suspended when knowingly violating and having a prior conviction within 10 years, a Class A misdemeanor. The charges were originally filed in Johnson Superior Court 2 before being moved to Superior Court 1 at the beginning of the year after a shift in case assignments.
