School is back in session, and for the Churchill County School District, that also means the school buses are transporting students to and from their respective schools.

Oasis Academy and Logos Christian Academy are also in session.

As we do each year as a public safety announcement, we must remind motorists to remember the rules of the road unless they want to be fined and lose a few driver’s license points.

With Churchill County operating many school buses, both local and out-of-town motorists must remember to stop for the flashing red lights when children are either climbing on or stepping off from the bus. Nevada law states motorists must halt in both directions for
