The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile.

Gladys Mejia Cervantes, 15, ran away from her home, according to a press release from the Carson City Sheriff's Office. She was last seen on Aug. 27.

She was reported to be wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and glasses at the time.

Gladys is described as a Hispanic female juvenile, 5-foot 6-inches tall, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
