OMAHA, Neb. —

It's been four years since the deadly bombing at an airport in Kabul , Afghanistan.

The suicide bombing killed 13 U.S. service members, including Omaha native Cpl. Daegan Page.

Remembering Daegan Page:

On Monday, President Donald Trump honored the soldiers who were killed.

Trump was surrounded by the families of those 13 service members, including Page's mom Wendy and dad Greg.

The tragedy happened Aug. 26, 2021 outside the Abbey Gate of the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.

More than 100 Afghans also died.

While expressing sympathy to the Gold Star families, both Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance accused the Biden administration of not acknowledging the families' sacrifices.
