Multiple individuals were arrested for a violent incident in Fernley Monday evening, according to a news release.

“On Aug. 25, 2025, at approximately 4:50 p.m., Lyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported traffic accident at the Community Response and Resource Center near Lois Lane in Fernley,” LCSO said. “Deputies arrived to find an injured male, later identified as Ricky Fields, who was being treated by North Lyon County Fire Department personnel.

“The investigation revealed the incident began as a road rage dispute and escalated when bystanders became involved. During the altercation, multiple individuals brandished weapons, a vehicle was damaged, and Fields sustained injuries that required hospitalization.”
