SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — On Tuesday, the Woodbury County Law Enforcement Authority tabled discussion on possibly appointing Mark Nelson as the LEC representative for pending mediation surrounding the jail project.

The authority voted two to zero to move this item to their next meeting. LEC authority secretary Dan Moore said he opposes having Nelson as the representative. This would help to avoid the possibility of breaking the open-meetings law.
