KINGDOM CITY — The North Callaway School District is shifting some school bus routes around as a result of ongoing construction on Interstate 70.
The district's bus depot is located in Kingdom City, and the buses had to travel on I-70 to reach students who lived west of Kingdom City and were within the boundaries of the North Callaway School District.
The district identified two problem areas for buses caused by the construction on I-70. Those areas are the portion of I-70 west of Kingdom City where lanes are narrower and the U.S. 54 overpass across I-70 in Kingdom City, which has closures in each direction.
