SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — With nine returning starters back on offense and eight on defense, the Lake View High School football team has a ton of experience heading into the 2025 season under longtime head coach Hector Guevara.

The Chiefs went 2-9 overall and 0-3 in District 3-4A Division I last season, and they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Lake View has nearly 70% of its players back from a year ago.

Junior quarterback Chris Alvizo has a year of experience under his belt, coming off a 2024 campaign in which he threw for 2,106 yards and 29 touchdowns. He's got a talented receiving corps, including speedy senior wideout Braylon White.
