SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Sports) - When Utah takes on UCLA in the season opener Saturday, there will be two true dual threat quarterbacks on the field at the Rose Bowl.

Utah's Devon Dampier and UCLA's Nico Imaleava are much different in size, but similar in abilities.

Dampier's ability to run the ball is perhaps his biggest weapon. He rushed for over 1,166 yards at New Mexico last season, the fourth most by any quarterback in the country.

"The run game is something that came natural to me just growing up," Dampier said. "I'm never afraid to put that ball down and let's go get some yards. I always tell everyone that I play to win games. So if using my legs is what it takes, then I'm always going to take that to win us the game."
