MASSAPEQUA PARK, N.Y. (PIX11) – A woman is accused of threatening to set fire to a home while two children were inside in Massapequa Park on Tuesday, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Police said it happened in an Ocean Avenue home around 1:15 p.m. Stephanie Spada, 46, was arguing with a 50-year-old man, according to authorities.
Police said the 50-year-old man then left the home. Spada is accused of texting him, threatening to burn the house down, according to authorities.
Police said Spada allegedly left a propane tank on top of a stove while two children, ages 14 and 10, were inside the home.
Spada was found by police officers, arrested and charged with arson and endangering the welfare of a child. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, according to author
