GRAND CONCOURSE, the Bronx (PIX11) --- Three men are accused of slashing and beating a subway rider near Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, police said Friday.
The 42-year-old man was attacked while standing on the northbound No. 4 train platform at the 161st Street - Yankee Stadium subway station at around 8:10 p.m., according to the NYPD.
One of the suspects pulled a knife and allegedly slashed the man in the abdomen, right eye, and left side of his face, police said. The two accomplices then reportedly punched and kicked the victim.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The three suspects then got on a northbound No. 4 train and fled the scene, police said. There have been no arrests.
