Wood River boys soccer plays defending 6A champ Boise to draw
The Wood River High School boys soccer team fought to a 1-1 draw against defending Idaho Class 6A champion Boise Brave in Boise on Saturday.
Wood River, the 5A runner-up in 2025, took a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute after the Wolverines’ Hayden Gvozdas had a free kick ricochet off a Boise player for an own goal. Boise tied the contest 14 minutes into the second half.
Wood River was scheduled to host the Idaho Falls Tigers on Tuesday after press time and is scheduled to head to Nampa to play the Skyview Hawks on Saturday.

The Wood River Mountain Biking Team made it to two team wins in two races in Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League action at Magic Mountai
