RICHMOND, Va. — The number six represents harmony and perfection and the Richmond Zoo just debuted six new cubs on Tuesday.

Parents Zuri and Ramses first welcomed their cubs back in May but now the cubs are viewable to the general public. The litter includes three males named Lagos, Bukavu, and Cairo and three females named Matola, Kampala, and Lusaka.

According to their press release, Zuri has been a great mother and is playful with her energetic cubs. Zuri and her cubs spent their first three months in the zoo's Cheetah Conservation Center which is a private facility.

The six cubs have all their vaccinations and have had several check-ups with the veterinary staff.
