North Street in Jackson closed for storm sewer repair

JACKSON, MI – More road closures are coming to Jackson.

The city of Jackson’s Public Works Department will close North Street at Gorham Street to traffic for a storm sewer repair, according to the city’s Facebook page. The closure began on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, and will continue until the sewer is fixed, with no estimated completion date.

Workers plan to keep one lane of the road open at all times to allow traffic flow. People with more questions should contact the Public Works Department by calling 517-788-4170.
