SALT LAKE COUNTY (ABC4) — Happy Wednesday, Utah! Monsoon moisture is sticking around a bit longer in the Beehive State, but things will start winding down as moisture continues moving northward.

More scattered showers and thunderstorms are on deck for northern Utah, but they'll be more isolated in southern Utah. The further north you go, the better chance there is of precipitation.

Even though southern Utah won't see as much moisture as the north, flash flooding will still be a concern for the outdoor recreation areas where the flash flood threat is in the "Possible" category. Flooding could be seen elsewhere as well; the Weather Prediction Center has the entire state under a "Marginal" risk. The northernmost part of the state like Cache Valley and Box Elder will be under a "Slight" risk
