SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The National Weather Service (NWS) posted on their website predicting there will be scattered showers and storms on Aug. 27.

The NWS states that the current conditions at the time of the publication is 69 F with a high of 92 F, 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., 76% humidity and winds coming in from the East at three mph.

The storms are expected to be scattered, so not all of San Angelo will receive rain reported the NWS. The areas that will see these scattered storms will see very heavy rainfall of one to two inches in less than an hour stated NWS in a graphic on their website. They also warned that low lying areas may become flooded and if they are never drive onto roadways covered in water.
