BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Bills are bringing back veteran safety Jordan Poyer, according to multiple reports.
Poyer is expected to be on the practice squad, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Poyer, 34, played with the Bills from 2017 to 2023, appearing in 107 games, intercepting 22 passes and completing nearly 700 tackles. He earned a first-team All-Pro nod in 2021 and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2022. In Buffalo, he was a team captain and leader of the defense.
He signed a one-year deal with the AFC East rival Miami Dolphins for the 2024 season and started in 16 games.
Poyer started his career as a seventh-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles and spent time in both Philadelphia and Cleveland before his first stint with the Bills.
