ROY LAKE, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Two individuals received citations after they were caught catching 62 bluegills, over twice the daily limit.

The incident happened on May 25, when Wildlife Conservation Officer Anna Sells received a TIPs call alerting her to the two individuals fishing on Roy Lake.

Officers responded to the area and determined that the individuals had caught 62 bluegills.

The daily limit is 15 bluegills per person.

Both individuals were cited and released, and the fish were kept as evidence.
