A pilot randomized clinical trial with researchers at King’s College London, King’s College Hospital, and King’s Fertility has shown that genetic testing of IVF embryos could aid in women over the age of 35 to conceive in less time. The study, published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine, examined the use of preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) focused exclusively on women 35 to 42 years of age, a group that has a higher risk of producing embryos with chromosomal abnormalities.
