Eight local businesses and nonprofits were named recipients of the 2025 Fairbanks Family Friendly Workplace Award during a Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Tuesday.
The annual awards “foster inclusive, supportive, and flexible work environments where families thrive.”
Trevor Storrs, executive director of the Alaska Children’s Trust, said the Chamber expanded the number of recipients to eight this year, reflecting a model used in the past. Three awards went to nonprofits, two to public entities, and three to private businesses.
